Our event programs tackle the tough public policy issues that face Arizona by bringing the business and political
communities together. Our signature annual events include:

2007 Heritage Awards Dinner — November 30, 2007
Since 1991 the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry has honored distinguished individuals
whose accomplishments and commitment to Arizona are recognized not only within the state, but
nationally and internationally as well. The Arizona Chamber is delighted to honor Coach Lute Olson,
head coach of the University of Arizona men's basket ball team, with the 2007 Arizona Heritage Award.

Minimum Wage Breakfast Seminar — March
This seminar will go beyond explaining the requirements of the new laws, and will feature policies
and practices that employers may adopt to deter disgruntled employees and labor unions from
imposing costly burdens on employers and “setting up” employers for violations
and claims with large, mandatory penalties.

Arizona Chamber Golf Classic — May
The morning golf tournament is the premiere social/sporting event on the legislative calendar, and is
an excellent opportunity for lawmakers, government officials and their business community constituents
to interact in the relaxed atmosphere of 'friendly' competition on the links.

Manufacturer of the Year Awards — May 20, 2008
The Manufacturer of the Year Awards, the Arizona Manufacturers Council’s (AMC) signature event, is a statewide competition open to all Arizona manufacturers. The event serves to bring
attention to Arizona’s manufacturing community and the contributions its members make to the state both economically and socially. An award of excellence will be presented to manufacturing companies that demonstrate forward thinking in product development – utilizing technology to revolutionize the manufacturing industry.

Western Energy Summit VI — June
The summit brings together energy industry leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss critical issues
facing the western United States and the nation. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission chairmen and
commissioners are featured as keynote speakers at the luncheon.

Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon — June
This fiscal-year-end luncheon is where the Arizona Chamber announces its leadership for the next fiscal year and
presents its Winged Victory Awards to the Arizona Senator of the Year.

Environmental Summit & Golf Classic — August 13, 14, & 15, 2008 - Tucson, AZ
This annual conference has provided a forum for industry professionals,
government and community leaders to exchange information on emerging issues, technological
advances and environmental regulatory programs. Bringing together environmental leaders and
industry service exhibitors, highlighting their distinctive products and services, this conference offers
an exceptional educational and networking opportunity.

Arizona Heritage Award — December
The Arizona Chamber honors distinguished individuals whose outstanding contribution and commitment to Arizona
are recognized not only within the state but internationally. Past recipients include U.S. Senator and Arizona
Governor Paul Fannin, Hall of Fame broadcaster Joe Garagiola; U.S. Senator Barry Goldwater;
Family Circus creator Bil Keane; U.S. Senator John McCain, Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme
Court Sandra Day O'Connor; U.S. Representative John J. Rhodes, Jr. and Betty Rhodes; businessman Frank Snell,
U.S. Representative Bob Stump, U.S. Representative Mo Udall, U.S. Senator Jon Kyl and U.S. Representative

Legislative Forecast Luncheon — January
The luncheon spotlights the Chamber's public policy mission and unveils the Chamber's legislative platform
The Business Agenda. The state Senate president, Speaker of the state House of Representatives
and House and Senate minority leaders provide their perspectives on the upcoming legislative session.

VIP Events
These events feature top public policy leaders, elected officials and other well-known and respected
professionals. Events may include VIP Breakfasts with Congressional Delegates, Election Year Debates and
ballot proposition forums.
